For Hard Surfaces:

Most hard surfaces can be treated with Sporex. Any surface that is treated should be tested for color fastness first. A wipe down with a damp, clean cloth will be needed.

1. We recommend covering flooring and any electronics under the contaminated area with 6-ply poly plastic.

2. Move nozzle to spray position, hold bottle 4-6 inches from surface area and spray. Spray a wide area around the visible mold, dampen thoroughly, just before dripping.

4. With a damp cloth, wipe hard surfaces only.

5. Place cloth in a sealed plastic bag and dispose of it in an outside container.

6. HEPA vacuuming is recommended after wipe down.

For Ceiling tiles (exposed surface):

Ceiling tiles also hold contamination. Great care must be taken in applying Sporex to ceiling tiles. A small area of ceiling must be treated for color fastness. Because Sporex is water-based, some ceiling tiles will discolor with large amounts of water.

1. We recommend covering flooring and any electronics under the contaminated area with 6-ply poly plastic.

2. Move nozzle to spray position, hold bottle 4-6 inches from surface area and spray. Spray a wide area around the visible mold, dampen thoroughly, just before dripping.

3. Leave the room and let the Sporex stand for two hours or until dry.

5. Place cloth in a sealed plastic bag and dispose of it in an outside container.

6. HEPA vacuuming is recommended after wipe down.

For Wood and wood products:

Wood and wood by-products are a major holder of contamination. Floors, sub-floors, joists, cross bracing, plywood, framing etc., have all been found to have high levels of contamination and harbor mold and bacteria.

1.    We recommend covering flooring and any electronics under the contaminated area with 6-ply poly plastic.

2.    Wood must be dampened with Sporex in ALL AREAS where the contamination has been found.

3. Move nozzle to spray position, hold bottle 4-6 inches from surface area and spray. Spray a wide area around the visible mold, dampen thoroughly, just before dripping.

4. Leave the room and let the Sporex stand for two hours or until dry.

5. With a damp cloth, wipe hard surfaces only.

6. Place cloth in a sealed plastic bag and dispose of it in an outside container.
